Get Ready For The Royal Experience At RACV!

August 13, 2015

My first tryst with this island country was about to start, and I was very excited. I was looking forward to it as a good getaway from the stress of the busy life. This also created a curiosity and desire to explore more of the continent. While choosing for viable accommodation options in the package, the search yielded me an option that not only had the prospect for comfort but was also loaded with the possibility of an adventure spree through water sports.

I decided on visiting a resort in Gold Coast City, Queensland. RACV Royal Pines Resort is located in Benowa suburb of Gold Coast City and is surrounded by Benowa Waters and Benowa hills.

The resort had all the facilities from spacious walkways to well equipped gymnasiums. The food menu specifically served the delicacies from the sea food rich Australian cuisine. I didn’t bother myself with any adventure on the first night as I needed to cope up from the extensive travel fatigue. The highlight of second day of my stay in the resort was the golf challenge I received from one of my fellow hotel-mate. The luscious green golf course over which the resort has been developed proved to be a very good experience as we tread together for flags with our golf kits.

On the night after the golf game (which I lost by a considerable score) I had a campfire, with a few hotel guests, in the open grounds of the resort. The resort package included performance of the native dance by the artists. It surely was a treat to cherish. My next day started with a visit to the gymnasium. It was a spacious hall with the latest rigs for exercising. Later on the same day I took a tour of the Surfers Paradise and had great fun while taking water sports like surfing and water skiing.

I returned to my resort by the evening and as I sat in my room’s balcony overlooking the sky, I wondered how many experiences this trip to Australia will bring to me.
